Tonight should be interesting, as rosters have been expanded to 90 players and most teams have a large amount of rookies they are taking a look at. These guys haven't had any OTA's, mini camps or extra meeting time. They have had the past two weeks to get acclimated to the highest level of competition. Now, they have to go out and prove to the scouts and coaches that they have what it takes to play on Sundays in the National Football League. Most scouts will tell you the first preseason game is the most important for those rookies, as it will tell them if they are learning, lost, or simply just can't handle it. This year will be no different, but it will be that much harder for them.
*Jesse Hoffman*
The Shoreline/Lake Forest Park area will be somewhere football fans rarely are during the 4th quarter of a preseason game tonight, on the edge of their seats. Jesse Hoffman, one of our own, will be making his NFL debut with the hometown Seahawks on national television. No big deal. Look for #44, Defensive back. Pretty exciting stuff, especially around these parts!
